A Long Way Down The Line
The project delves into the emotional resonance of landscapes, portraying them as reflective of various emotional states - be it the solitude of loneliness or the contemplative nature of a space. While travelling across New Zealand, I found myself wrestling with questions about my path and and the challenge of validating my presence in space and time. It became apparent that my awareness of location is solely a construct of the mind.
The black and white landscapes captured in this project transcend specific places and times. The spatial elements are delineated by lines that stretch endlessly in both directions, prompting contemplation on the boundless choices and life possibilities.
